DeskOS

A complete desktop environment that runs like its own machine — alpha build for testers. Data safety: sealed prefs store now refuses to overwrite saved AI keys / mail accounts / settings with an empty map, keeps a .bak before every write, and recovers from .bak if the primary file is unreadable (fixes the boot regression that wiped saved settings). System-wide themed UI: DeskOS-drawn checkbox, radio, range slider, color swatch and select chevron replace native OS chrome across every app, respecting light/dark, high-contrast and touch modes.
